MY STORY
My professional career started when I was in elementary school. I met my favorite teacher and from that point on knew I wanted to do what she did, which was teach!
I went through elementary, middle, and high school, declared my major in college for Elementary Education, and was determined to live my vision of becoming an Elementary School Teacher.
I graduated with my Master’s degree, landed a job as a 4th/5th Grade Teacher and after my first year of teaching, I knew teaching was something I DID NOT want to do.
For years, I was set on this goal to teach, and during that time I didn't truly feel aligned with it, but I did it even though I was not fulfilled. If I look back, I kept going because I was unsure of what was outside the world of teaching. I had a fear of the unknown, and thus I kept doing something I knew did not satisfy me.
After two years of teaching, I called it a wrap! My love for the students was there, but true fulfillment was not what I was experiencing, and after two years, I was ready to share passion, excitement, power, and possibilities in my work, career, and overall personal life.
I dove into a season of exploration, finding what I wanted and what truly brought me joy, purpose, and possibilities! Choosing to let go of my expectations and "should be's" and leaning into what fulfillment meant for me in my life, career, and aspirations have led me to the field of coaching,
Fast forward to today, I have had the opportunity to coach working professionals on how they can strive toward their fulfillment in their career through landing a new role, promotions, increasing their salary, and finding a place where they feel fulfilled and valued.
